Governance

The Alabama Beekeeping Association began in 1922. It has evolved into a large eclectic group comprised of small hobby beekeepers all the way to large scale honey production farms.

The ABA is governance is provided through our Constitution and Bylaws which were amended in 2020.

The Alabama Beekeepers Association has 6 Regional Directors on the Board of Directors, two from the north one-third, two from the middle one-third and two from the south one-third of the state. The ABA Officers and Directors are listed below along with their bios and photos here.
